I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to share my love of Chesterton and the natural and supernatural gifts he has given me in this talk with the attendees of the 41st Annual Chesterton Conference. Thank you to the Society of G.K. Chesterton for making the talk available.
My husband was at the conference and loved your talk–he was so excited that it is public so I could watch it. I’m on my own journey to find meaning in my stay-at-home mom role, which Chesterton essays particularly helped you embrace his mindset on the primacy of the domestic life?
So sorry for the delay in writing.
I particularly love the section on Women in “What’s Wrong with the World” called “Feminism, or the Mistake about the Woman.” Throughout Chesterton’s writing is a unified theme of the primacy of the domestic sphere and the importance of the role of women in society.
You can find this section of What’s Wrong with the World online here: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/1717/1717-h/1717-h.htm#link2H_PART3
Also, Dale Ahlquist has recently compiled a collection of essays on the family, which you can find here: https://ignatius.com/the-story-of-the-family-sfp/
I am so glad your husband enjoyed the talk! Chesterton has so much to offer us today. He was such a prophet and saw things so clearly.
